Roger Newbould's Fuel Injected Cosworth BDX powered Imp. The engine and Hewland FG box reputedley came from a formula 3 car - possibly ex Ronnie Peterson.The back half of the F3 chassis was grafted into the imp. The figure of 10 000 pounds was mentioned at the time. The engine also powered Roger's Renault 5 Rallycross car giving 20 seasons racing, finally grenading at a Swindon Rallycross meeting, being replaced by a Paul Gardiner N/A .2.4 Cosworth.
